Linda Curley was born in Boise, Idaho.
Linda started painting when her second child was only one month old. A friend begged her to go to a painting class, after her first class she was hooked. Curley fervently pursued her artwork and amazingly has had seven children. Finding time to paint has been difficult at times, not for the faint hearted.
Curly has studied with artists Osral Allred, Ken Baxter, Floyd Breinholt, and Paul Forster. Her love for the outdoors is reflected in her impressionistic
compositions. She has won more than twenty-five awards, including the Bertrude Folgerson National Art Award. Linda is also a signature member of the Oil Painters of America.
